Guwahati: Assam’s Health City Hospital in Guwahati unveiled the Northeast's first uCT 780 with DELTA, an AI-enabled premium Cardiac CT scanner featuring Spectral Imaging, on November 15, marking advancement in regional healthcare technology.

The uCT 780 provides ultralow-dose AI-assisted imaging, enhancing diagnostic precision for cardiac and oncology patients.

Its DELTA reconstruction technology and AI-DOM dose modulation reduce radiation exposure by up to 80% while delivering clearer images.

Designed for advanced cardiac assessments, the system incorporates CardioXphase AI, Dynamic Pitch technology, and coronary analysis tools, enabling high-quality scans even for patients with elevated heart rates or arrhythmia.

It also allows faster, non-invasive diagnostics with reduced contrast requirements.

Equipped with Dual-Energy/Spectral Imaging, high-resolution output, and AI-based segmentation, the scanner improves cancer detection and monitoring, supporting more effective screening and treatment planning.

Medical Director Bhabani Prasad Chakraborty said the facility will now provide residents of Assam and the Northeast with access to world-class diagnostics locally.

The inauguration was attended by senior medical leaders, including Chairman-cum-Managing Director Bhabananda Das, Academic Director Biju Choudhury, and doctors Sasanka Baruah and Rahul Raunav Ramchiary, according to Facility Director Parag Jyoti Dutta.
