Assam: Yaba tablets worth Rs 9 crore seized in Karimganj
Guwahati: A team of Assam Police and Border Security Force (BSF) seized at least 30,000 Yaba tablets valued at Rs 9 crore from a vehicle in Karimganj district.
Police sources said that a joint operation by Karimganj police and BSF's G Branch also led to the apprehension of two individuals.
The police said that the said individuals were taken into custody for further investigation.

The suspected tablets along with the vehicle were seized.
On the same day, another police team recovered 77 containers containing suspected heroin in Mikirbheta, Morigaon.

Three individuals identified as Amjat Ali, Sahanaj, and Fakir Uddin, residents of Mikirbheta, were arrested in connection with the heroin seizure.
The seized containers weigh approximately 104 grams with containers.
Investigations are underway in both cases.
