Assam: Three killed in head-on collision between MUV-truck in Cachar

Guwahati: At least three people were killed while several were injured in an accident that took place in Cachar, Assam on Sunday.

As per reports, the incident was reported from the Narsingpur area of Cachar, Assam.

A truck and a passenger MUV (a Tata Sumo) had a head-on collision on Sunday, reports claimed.

During the accident, three people lost their lives while several were injured.

Locals claimed that both vehicles were at high speeds and were being driven carelessly.

All the injured were taken to a hospital for treatment.

An investigation has been initiated in connection with the accident.

The vehicles have been seized by the police for further legal proceedings.
