GUWAHATI: As Assam braces for the third phase of polling, teams comprising presiding and polling officers are en route to their designated polling stations with election materials.
This crucial phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Assam is scheduled for Tuesday (May 07).
Reports indicate that polling parties from the Maniram Diwan Trade Centre in Guwahati were dispatched to their assigned polling stations across four parliamentary constituencies: Guwahati, Barpeta, Kokrajhar and Dhubri.
The third phase of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, set for May 7, will witness voting in the remaining four out of the total 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam.
Notably, the voting process for 10 Lok Sabha seats has already concluded in the initial two phases of the elections.
