Guwahati: West Assam Milk Producers' Co-operative Union Ltd (WAMUL), known under the Purabi Dairy brand, announced a partnership with the Assam government to operate a new dairy plant in Dhemaji district.

The agreement, signed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate of Dairy Development (DoDD), allows WAMUL to manage the DoDD's existing 5,000-litre daily capacity plant.
