Assam: Policeman killed after road accident in Lakhimpur
Guwahati: A policeman was killed after his motorcycle met with an accident in Lakhimpur, Assam.
According to reports, the personnel was identified as Kakul Konwar (37).
The head-on collision between Konwar's scooter and a motorcycle occurred in Dhakuakhana's Konwar village.

While Konwar succumbed to his injuries at the scene, two other Assam Police officers Kushal Duwari and Babul Borgohain, who were on the motorcycle, sustained critical injuries.

They have been transferred to Dibrugarh for advanced medical treatment.
Konwar's body has been sent to the North Lakhimpur Medical College for autopsy.
An investigation has been initiated.
