Tikamgarh: A team of Assam police officers carried out a search at the residence of Congress MLA Yadvendra Singh Bundela at Tikamgarh in Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday (July 24).

The search was conducted in connection with a cheating case filed in Assam against Bundela’s son, Shashwat Singh.

The search was part of an ongoing investigation into a cheating case registered in Assam.

The Assam police team, which arrived in Tikamgarh, requested assistance from local law enforcement during their operation.

The search, which lasted approximately three hours, was conducted under the protection of local police officers.

This incident marks the second visit by Assam police to Tikamgarh.

In September of the previous year, the Assam police had previously interrogated Shashwat Singh regarding the same multi-crore cheating case.
