GUWAHATI: Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu has rubbished the media reports of the English language paper allegedly getting leaked on the first day of high school leaving certificate (HSLC) exams 2024 in the state.

Reacting to the media reports, Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu said that the reports of paper leak were completely unfounded and fabricated.

“The reports of HSLC examination question paper leak in Cachar district are fake,” Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu said.

He added: “Authorities are currently probing the origins of this false news and will enforce legal measures accordingly.”

Earlier, it was reported that the English language paper got leaked in Cachar district of Assam and quickly got circulated on various social media platforms.
