Assam: Ex-ULFA-I member arrested for illegal possession of arms

GUWAHATI: A former member of ULFA-I has been arrested by the police in Tinukia district of Assam for illegal possession of arms.

The arrested ex-ULFA-I member has been identified as Dhan Bora.

He has been arrested on suspicion of arms trafficking.

Bora was arrested following a late night search operation conducted by the police at Doomdooma bridge in Assam.

An American pistol along with 12 rounds of live ammunition was recovered from the arrested individual.
