Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma is resorting to hate politics: Jharkhand CM
Ranchi: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren slammed Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, accusing him of engaging in divisive politics in Jharkhand while neglecting his own flood-stricken state.
Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren said, “Their (BJP) one CM is whose own state is drowning due to flood, and instead of serving his people, he is here in Jharkhand to divide the society.”
“I sent him the flood relief but he only does hatred politics here,” said Soren.
He further questioned CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s commitment to Assam, asking, “How many flood-affected areas has he visited? He is more concerned about the situation in Jharkhand rather than Assam.”
Expressing concern for Jharkhand residents in Assam, Soren stated, “I sent the flood relief package for them. But Sarma looks more concerned for Jharkhand instead of Assam.”

“I don’t know why he is here, but this is a tradition of the BJP. This is their agenda, but we will work on our agenda,” the Jharkhand CM said.
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is also BJP’s co-in-charge for Jharkhand assembly elections, was on a two-day visit to the poll bound state.
During his visit, Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma accused “Bangladeshi infiltrators” of illegally occupying tribal land in Pakur.
“…Two Bangladeshi infiltrators grabbed their land, the Court gave an order that both of them should be removed and the Adivasi family should be given their land back, but the administration did not do anything,” the Assam CM said in Jharkhand recently.
