DHUBRI: Tensions flared at a polling station in Mankachar, situated within Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency in Assam, on Tuesday (May 07).

Reports emerged of a clash between two groups during the voting process at the polling station in Mankachar, situated within Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency in Assam.

The incident reportedly take place at polling booth No158 in Mankachar’s Kathalbari, where chaos ensued as voters queued up to exercise their franchise.

Violent altercations erupted outside the polling booth following the initial confrontation.

This prompted deployment of security officials to restore order and diffuse the situation.
