Assam: Bajali gets two new Maths and Science research centres, boosting rural education
Bajali: In a significant move to uplift the quality of education in rural Assam, Bhawanipur MLA Phanidhar Talukdar laid the foundation stone for two new Mathematics and Science Research Centres in Bajali district.
The research centres will be set up at Moinamati Girls’ High School and Puthimari Ambikagiri High School.
Aimed at providing students with high-standard technical and scientific learning, the initiative is expected to boost educational opportunities in the region.
Speaking at the inauguration, MLA Talukdar expressed his delight over the project’s launch, calling it a step towards ensuring a better future for young learners. “Our children deserve the best,” he said, emphasising the need for quality and modernised education in government schools.
Talukdar also conveyed his appreciation for Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s vision to strengthen educational infrastructure across the state. He stated that the new research centres would act as “pillars of opportunity” for students who aspire to excel in mathematics, science, and technology.
Teachers, students, and local residents welcomed the initiative, noting that such developments would help rural students access advanced learning resources and inspire them to pursue scientific research and innovation.
The project marks a promising beginning in enhancing academic facilities in the region, with hopes that the centres will shape the future of countless young minds in Bajali.
