Assam: ATM theft suspect injured in police firing in Barpeta
Guwahati: A suspected ATM robber was reportedly injured in police firing while attempting to flee in Barpeta, Assam on Wednesday night.
Identified as Magrab Ali, the suspect was apprehended by police after being shot in the leg while attempting to flee.

The accused is currently under police custody, receiving treatment for his injuries.
During the confrontation, a police constable was also injured, although details of the incident were not shared in details by the police.
