Assam: Accountant abducted from oil depot in Sivasagar

Guwahati: A man working at a fuel depot in Sivasagar, Assam was allegedly abducted on Wednesday evening.

According to reports, the person abducted has been identified as Dip Gogoi.

He was an accountant at the Damani Oil Depot in Sivasagar's Station Chariali locality, Assam.

Reports stated that unidentified persons broke into his office in the evening and took him away.

A Gujarat-based man has been suspected to be behind the incident.

Police have registered a case and initiated a probe into the incident.
