Assam: 25-year-old found dead in Guwahati, suicide suspected
Guwahati: A 25-year-old woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a rented house in Guwahati, Assam on Saturday.
Locals reportedly recovered the body of the woman from a house in the Pithaguri area of Lokhra, Guwahati.
The death has been suspected to be a suicide by locals but an investigation has been initiated.

The deceased has been identified as Suijita Kashyap.
Locals said that she worked at a local hospital but had no clue why she would take the extreme step to commit suicide.

Her dead body was transferred to the GMCH for post-mortem, police said.
They added that some locals had claimed that the suicide may be linked to a possible love affair but they are checking all angles including murder.
