DIBRUGARH: Atul Bora, president of the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would secure victory in all 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam.
Addressing the media at the AGP office in Dibrugarh, Assam agriculture minister, Atul Bora, asserted, "The NDA alliance is poised to clinch all 14 seats in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in Assam. Commencing with the first phase on April 19, polling will take place in five Lok Sabha constituencies. We have initiated our campaign from the Kaliabor constituency. Today, we've conducted meetings in Lakhimpur and Dibrugarh. Our primary objective is to ensure maximum support for our NDA alliance candidates."
"We are fielding candidates for the Dhubri and Barpeta seats this time. Our candidates are prepared and determined to secure victory in their respective constituencies. The response from the Barpeta seat has been encouraging, and we are optimistic about securing a substantial mandate there," Bora emphasized.
He went on to say, "Today, we convened a party meeting at the Dibrugarh AGP office to strategize for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Dibrugarh. Sarbananda Sonowal, the BJP candidate, will be contesting from the Dibrugarh seat. We pledge our full support to him to ensure a resounding victory."
