Assam: Two killed after being run over by train while gaming in Hojai

Guwahati: On Wednesday morning, two youths died after being run over by a train in Hojai, Assam.

According to reports, the youth were gaming on their mobile while sitting on the train tracks.

However, the matter is being investigated by the police.

The deceased were identified as Aftab Ali and Sharifuddin.

Both of them were residents of the Bhuyanpatty area in Hojai.

Reports claimed that they had headphones on while gaming.

Due to the headphones, they failed to notice the speeding train and ended up being run over by it.

While the locals attempted to rescue them, it was too late and both died on the spot before any medical assistance could arrive.

Further details are being investigated by the police.
