Assam: Sacrifices made by Indian Army jawans inspire NCC girl cadets

Guwahati: As many as 34 young and enthusiastic National Cadet Corps (NCC) girl cadets along with their instructors on Saturday interacted with the Indian Army troops in Tinsukia district of Assam.

The NCC girl cadets were given a tour of the Army camp under the theme ‘A Day with Company Commander.’

The cadets witnessed rigorous training exercises and state-of-the-art equipment of the Indian Army during the day-long tour of the Army camp.

The cadets also participated in team building activities, including tug of war and musical chair.

As the day progressed, the cadets got an opportunity to engage in interactive sessions with the soldiers of the Indian Army listening to the experiences and challenges they face while serving the nation in the frontline.

The cadets were inspired by the incidents of bravery and the supreme sacrifices made by the Indian Army jawans in the line of duty.
