Assam: Nurse found dead in Nagaon, suicide suspected
Guwahati: A nurse was reportedly found dead under mysterious conditions in Nagaon, Assam on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Purabi Borah, a resident of Puranigudam, Nagaon.
She was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the hostel of DBM Nursing Home on Wednesday.
The cause of death is yet to be confirmed.

However, the police suspected that the incident may be a case of suicide.
According to colleagues, Borah had gone for a morning walk with her roommate earlier that day.
Upon returning, she did not leave her room for an extended period.

When her roommate checked on her, Borah was found unconscious on the bed.
Police recovered the body and found syringes and other medical supplies near her.
It is also suspected that there might be a case of possible overdose of medication or even poison.
The exact cause of death will be determined by the ongoing police investigation.
