Assam: Man hacks wife and daughter to death in Kokrjhar

Guwahati: A man has been accused of murdering his wife and daughter in Kokrajhar, Assam on Wednesday.

The victims were identified as Kalpana Mallik and her daughter Dipshikha Mallik.

Reports stated that they were found "brutally" killed at their home in Shanti Nagar, Kokrajhar.

The prime suspect, Dipshikha’s husband Manab Saha, is reported absconding.

Police suspect a domestic dispute might have triggered the murders, but the exact motive remains under investigation.

The police have launched a manhunt for the accused.
