Assam to invite President Murmu to Karbi Youth Festival

DIPHU: In a significant announcement, Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has pledged robust support for the Karbi Youth Festival, underscoring the government's commitment to promoting cultural vibrancy and youth engagement in the region.

Speaking at a public event in Karbi Anglong, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma revealed plans to extend a formal invitation to the President of India Droupadi Murmu to attend the festival next year.
