Assam HSLC 2024 results: Anurag Doloi from Jorhat tops exam

GUWAHATI: Anurag Doloi from Jorhat district in Assam has topped the high school leaving certificate (HSLC) exam conducted by the board of secondary education, Assam (SEBA).

Anurag Doloi is a student of the Pragya Academy Senior Secondary School in Jorhat district of Assam.

Anurag Doloi scored 593 out of 600 total marks in the Assam HSLC exam results 2023.

Meanwhile, Jharna Saikia, a student of Shankardev Shidhu Vidya Niketan at Biswanath Chariali in Assam emerged as the second topper in the exam, scoring 590 marks.

The three other students, who made it to the top five of the merit list, securing 588 marks are: Manash Pratim Saikia of Island Academy of Majuli district, Bedanta Choudhury of Stella Maris School in Barpeta district and Devashree Kashyap of Ramanujan Senior Secondary School in Nagaon district of Assam.

The board of secondary education Assam (SEBA) announced the results of the recently concluded high school leaving certificate (HSLC) exams on Saturday (April 20).

The Assam HSLC 2024 exam results were declared by the SEBA at 10:30am on Saturday (April 20).

A record 75.7% pass percentage was recorded in the Assam HSLC exam conducted by the SEBA recently.

A total of 4,19,078 lakh students appeared for the Assam HSLC exam 2024.

Of the total students, who appeared in the Assam HSLC 2024 exam, 3,17,317 cleared the exam.

Of the 3,17,317 students who cleared the Assam HSLC 2024 exam, 1,45,263 are male, 1,72,046 are female and 8 are transgender.

However, only 6392 students scored above 85% marks.

20,552 students, who appeared in the Assam HSLC exam 2024, scored between 75-85% marks.

While, 1,05,873 students secured first division marks in the exam, 1,50,764 managed to secure second division and 60,680 students secured third division.

On the other hand, Chirang emerged as the best district in Assam with 91.2 pass percentage.

The Assam HSLC 2024 exam results were declared by the SEBA at 10:30am on Saturday (April 20).

Students who took the Assam HSLC exams 2024 can access their results online via the official SEBA website at sebaonline.org.

SEBA conducted the Assam HSLC exams 2024, from February 16 to March 4.
