Assam: Homeo college vice principal found dead in Guwahait, suicide suspected
Guwahati: Dr Narayan Debnath, the Vice Principal of Swahid Jadav Nath Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital in Guwahati, Assam was found dead by suspected suicide on Tuesday morning.
The 57-year-old doctor was reportedly discovered hanging in his quarters located within the college premises at around 5:45 am.

Authorities are yet to determine the cause behind this unfortunate incident.
Dr Debnath, who resided at the college with his family for the past year, was found by nearby students who alerted the college officials.

Originally from Doboka in Lanka, He reportedly owned a house in Nagaon.
His family was not present in Guwahati at the time of the incident.
The police have begun an investigation into the incident.
