Assam: Gauhati University gets A+ grade in latest NAAC assessment

Guwahati: Gauhati University announced on Friday (July 5, 2024) that it has been awarded an A grade in the latest assessment cycle (2024-29) by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

This marks a significant achievement for the university, building upon its previous success of securing an A grade in 2018 with a CGPA of 3.04.

A team of NAAC representatives conducted a rigorous evaluation of the university from June 26 to 28, 2024.

Their assessment focused on various aspects including research activities, infrastructure, student and faculty quality, campus amenities, and the strength of both academic and co-curricular programs.

This A grade from NAAC signifies Gauhati University's unwavering commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement. It positions the university as a leader in education within the region and a top institution nationwide.
