Assam: Dibrugarh performs better in HS-2024 results compared to previous years

Dibrugarh: The Assam Higher Secondary Council (AHSEC) on Thursday declared the HS-2024 results, and Dibrugarh district has fared much better performance compared to the previous years.

In the Arts stream, a total of 6,777 candidates have appeared and out of that 6,319 have passed with a pass percentage of 93.24. A total of 1,734 students got first division, 2,261 bagged second division and 2,324 students secured third division.

In the Science stream, 2,530 students have appeared and out of that 2,345 have passed, with a pass percentage of 92.69. A total of 1,480 got first division, 584 second division and 281 students got third division marks.

In Commerce, 1,142 students appeared and out of that, 1,007 students passed with a pass percentage of 88.18. A total of 452 got first division, 354 second division and 201 students got third division.

Dibrugarh district Inspector of schools (IS) Dr. Samiran Bora said, “Dibrugarh district has performed better in the Higher Secondary this time compared to previous years. Our ranking has been good compared to earlier years.”
