GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, on Wednesday (January 17), met his Nagaland counterpart Neiphiu Rio.

The chief ministers of Assam and Nagaland met in Dimapur.

Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma termed his meeting with Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio as ‘excellent’.

“We discussed ways to deepen our collaboration and expand our engagements towards continued peace and harmony between both our states,” the Assam CM said.
