Babu sustained severe injuries to his head and chest during the attack.

He succumbed to his wounds while being transported to the hospital for medical attention.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

A police official said that while the person has been claimed to be a principal, some teachers told them that he was in fact the manager of the institute.

The official further stated that the student was detained and since he is a minor, certain legal procedures are being followed.

He also said that the CCTV is being examined to assess the situation.
