Applications are invited for recruitment of various research based positions or jobs in NIT Agartala Tripura in 2025.

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala Tripura is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of 1 number of JRF or 1 numbers of Project Assistant and 2 number of B-Tech internships candidates for the research project funded by IIT Guwahati TIDF TIH sponsored research project entitled "Sustainable Underwater Robotics: Autonomous Marine Surveillance Powered by Hydrodynamic Energy Generation" in 2025.

Eligibility Criteria :

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) : M.Tech./ Ph.D (Production/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Electrical/ EI/ CSE) or equivalent with/without GATE Score. Pay will be fixed based on valid Gate Score or experience. B.Tech. (Production/Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/EI/CSE) with Valid Gate
Score can also apply.

Project Assistant : B. Tech Candidate (Production/Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/ EI/CSE)
without Gate Score will get a salary of Rs. 22,000 (Consolidated).

Internship : B Tech continuing (Production/Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/ EI/CSE)
students can work as intern up to March 2026 or may extend, @ Rs 5000/- each for maximum 10 months.

Job Roles : The primary role is to assist in research activities under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI) as well Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI). Research activities include design and development underwater robot for Marine Surveillance and have some idea related to electronics. Preparation of high quality documentation, including detailed reports, patents and presentations etc.
