SSC Recruitment 2025 : Apply for over 25000 Constable posts

Applications are invited for recruitment of over 25000 vacant positions or career under SSC in 2025.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 25487 vacant positions or career of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR) in 2025.

No. of posts : 25487

Qualification : The candidates must have passed the Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from
a recognized Board/ University as on or before the cut-off date i.e. 01-01-2026.

Pay Scale: Pay Level – 3 (Rs. 21,700/- to Rs. 69,100/-) for all the posts.

Age Limit: The crucial date for age reckoning is fixed as 01-01-2026 in accordance with the provisions of the DoP&T OM No. 14017/70/87-Estt.(RR) dated 14-07-1988. Accordingly, the age of the candidate must be 18-23 years as on 01-01-2026 (i.e., candidates born not before 02-01-2003 and not later than 01-01-2008).
