Spices Board Gangtok Sikkim is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Research Assistants on contract basis for engaging in crop improvement, pathology and post harvest technology divisions in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria :
Crop Improvement Division: M.Sc Agriculture/ M.Sc Botany/ M.Sc Zoology from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60% mark/GPA 6.0.
Pathology Division: M.Sc Agriculture/ M.Sc microbiology/ M.Sc Zoology from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60% mark/GPA 6.0.
Post Harvest Technology Division: M.Sc Post-Harvest Technology/ : M.Sc Agricultural Engineering (with specialization in Post-Harvest Engineering/Processing)/ M.Sc Food Technology / Food Science & Technology/ M.Sc Horticulture (with specialization or experience in post harvest handling/ processing) from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60% mark/GPA 6.0.
Essential Experience : Two years relevant research experience
Desirable : Working knowledge in computer, Experience in conducting research trial experiments, data compilation, Analysis, report preparation etc.
Age : Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of walk in test
Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 12th February 2026 at 10 AM. Venue is in SPICES BOARD REGIONAL RESEARCH STATION, YAKTHUNG HOUSE, TADONG, GANGTOK, SIKKIM - 737102
