Sikkim University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the project entitled “Prediction of long-term soil fertility of Organic Agriculture System in Sikkim by evaluating the distributional pattern of earthworms and the soil microbiota” in 2026.

Qualification : First class Master Degree in Horticulture/ Agriculture/ Microbiology/ Life
Science with NET/ GATE
Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in microbiology /
molecular biology/ organic farming. Candidates having experience with working in Himalayan region will be preferred.
Emoluments : Rs.37,000/- + HRA 9% per month subject to satisfactory performance.
Age limit: 28 years
