RGIPT Recruitment 2025 : Apply for Assistant Professor posts

Applications are invited for recruitment of various teaching positions or career in RGIPT in 2025.

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Assistant Professor in its Jais and Bengaluru campuses in 2025.

Name of post : Assistant Professor (Tenure Track)

Educational Qualification:

Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in Science/Engineering, or a Master’s in Engineering with relevant professional experience.

Must hold at least one degree (UG/PG/Ph.D.) from a Top 250 QS-ranked international university (outside India).

Experience :

1. Minimum 3 years of post-doctoral experience in teaching/research/industry at reputed international organizations or universities.

2. Strong record of post-Ph.D. publications, patents, and/or Ph.D. supervision is highly desirable.

3. Alternatively, for applicants in Computer Science, Information Technology, and allied areas, a Master’s in Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry abroad is acceptable. Publications and patents are highly desirable.

4. Candidates must demonstrate a strong academic and research record through publications, patents, IPRs, or books.

5. Industrial experience should be at a managerial level equivalent to Assistant Professor, involving roles in design, planning, execution, analysis, innovation, quality control, training, or R&D management.
