NTPC is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Assistant Chemist Trainee (ACT) in 2026.

Qualification :
Regular/Ful-time M.Sc. in Chemistry from recognized Indian University/ Institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
SC, ST & PwBD candidates with passing marks are also eligible to apply for the post.
Final year / semester students who expect their result by 31.07.2026 may also apply.
Age Limit :
Max. 27 years as on the last date of online application. Age relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD/ XSM candidates applicable as per Government guidelines.
Remuneration :
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.30,000 - 1,20,000/- at the
basic pay of Rs. 30,000/- (EO Grade). The other benefits such as Dearness Allowance, other perquisites and allowances, terminal benefits, etc. will be admissible as per company rules in force from time to time during training / after absorption.
