NTPC Limited is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Engineers in 2025.

Name of post : Engineer (Geology)

No. of posts : 2

Qualification: M.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech)/ M.Tech in Geology/Applied Geology with atleast 60% marks from a recognized University/ Institution. Preference shall be given to those candidates who have completed Ph.D. in respective areas

Experience : Minimum 05 years of relevant experience post qualification in the area of Structural Geology, Engineering Geology, Geological Mapping, Tectonic Interpretation, Identification of fault/lineament, Software proficiency in ArcGIS, Geophysical data processing etc. Experience during the Ph.D. project work is countable as relevant experience (duly certified and verified by respective Guide/Head of Deptt/Institutions)

No. of posts : 2

Qualification: M.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech)/ M.Tech in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics with atleast 60% marks from a recognized University/ Institution. Preference to those candidates who have completed Ph.D. in respective areas

Experience : Minimum 05 years of relevant experience post qualification in the area of Probabilistic / Deterministic Seismic Hazard Assessment, 2D/3D Seismic reflection data acquisition / Processing / Interpretation, Shallow seismic studies (MASW / Refraction), Electrical Resistivity Tomography, Gravity, Magnetic studies, Software proficiency in ArcGIS, Geophysical data processing etc. Experience during the Ph.D. project work is countable as relevant experience (duly certified and verified by respective Guide/Head of Deptt/Institutions.)
