National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Scientific Assistants and Junior Hindi Translator in 2025.
Name of post : Scientific Assistant-B (Medical Laboratory Technician)
No. of posts : 1
Essential Qualifications:
BSc with minimum 50% marks + one year Diploma in Medical Lab. Tech. (D.M.L.T/M.L.T) with 60%
marks.
OR
BSc in Medical Lab Tech. with minimum 50% marks
Desirable: Preferably 2 (two) years’ experience in a research laboratory or possessing a
proficiency certificate or experience of similar nature.
Pay Scale : Level 6 - 35400-112400 as per 7th CPC pay matrix
Age: Minimum 18 but not more than 40 years for Gen-PwBD category, 43 years for OBC-PwBD
category and 45 years for SC-PwBD/ST-PwBD category as on 17.12.2025 i.e. born on or after 18.12.1985 for Gen-PwD category, 18.12.1982 for OBC-PwBD category and 18.12.1980 for SC- PwBD/ ST-PwBD category (both days inclusive)
Name of post : Scientific Assistant-B (Clinical Psychologist)

Essential Qualifications: Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Clinical Psychology with minimum 50% marks in the last examination.
Age: Minimum 18 but not more than 35 years for ST category i.e. born on or after 18.12.1990 for
ST category (both days inclusive)
Pay Scale : Level 6 - 35400-112400 as per 7th CPC pay matrix
Name of post : Junior Hindi Translator
No. of posts : 1
Essential Qualifications:
Master's degree from recognized university/institute in Hindi/English, with English/Hindi as a main subject at degree level
OR
Master's degree from recognized university in any subject with Hindi and English as main subjects
at degree level
OR
Master's degree from recognized university in any subject with Hindi/English medium and
English/Hindi as a main subject at degree level
OR
Master's degree from recognized university in Hindi or English or in any other subject with
Hindi/English medium with English/Hindi as main subject or a medium of an examination at the
degree level
OR
Bachelor’s degree from recognized university/institute with Hindi and English as main subject or
either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a main subject plus recognized
Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or 2 years’
experience of translational work from Hindi to English and vice versa in central/state
government offices including government of India undertaking.
Age: Minimum 18 but not more than 28 years as on 17.12.2025 for UR category i.e. born on or
after 18.12.1997 (both days inclusive).
Age: Minimum 18 but not more than 35 years for ST category i.e. born on or after 18.12.1990 for
ST category (both days inclusive)
Pay Scale : Level 6 - 35400-112400 as per 7th CPC pay matrix
