National Institute of Technology (NIT) Mizoram is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the R&D project titled “Socially-Interactive Vacuum Cleaning Robot for OnHuman Demand and Human-Instructed Cleaning” sanctioned by Anusandhan National Research Foundation under ANRF-ARG in 2026.

Salary : INR 37,000/- + HRA as applicable when qualified in the National eligibility test such as CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE and National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies
and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER,
NISER etc.
Qualification & Experience :
1. Master degree (M.Tech/M.E/M.Sc.) in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Mathematics / Robotics / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Data Science or relevant field with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CPI/CGPA in both M.Tech/ M.E/ M.Sc., and B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc.
2. For this position, it is desirable that the candidate has a good background in Mathematics and Programming in C/C++/Python.
Upper age limit:
28 years. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/women and physically handicapped candidates
