Mizoram University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST SERB funded research project entitled “Phyco-nano-generation of Bio-pesticides against Fall Army Worm (FAW): An ecofriendly approach for Agricultural Sustainability and Food Security” in 2026.

Essential Qualification : M.Sc./M.Tech in Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Life Sciences (Preference to CSIR/UGC NET/GATE/SET or any National level entrance qualified candidates)

Desirable Qualification : Experience in insect rearing and bioassays (preferably FAW), microalgae culture, green synthesis of nanoparticles, basic nanomaterial characterization, biopesticide evaluation, data analysis, and scientific documentation. Candidates with interdisciplinary exposure in entomology, phycology, or nanotechnology will get preference.

Emoluments : Rs. 37000/- +HRA
