Applications are invited for recruitment of various research based positions or jobs in NIT Meghalaya in 2026.
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the project entitled "Insights on Provision of Ancillary Services Through TSO-DSO Interaction Considering Cyber-Resilient Operation" in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria :
M.Tech./M.E in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power & Energy Systems, Power Electronics & Drives, Renewable Energy, Smart Grid (or equivalent).
OR
GATE-qualified candidates with a B.Tech. / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines.
Fellowship :
INR 37,000/- p.m., for the first two years and INR 42,000/- p.m., for the third year. The fellowship is available for a maximum period of 3 years or until the end of the project.
