North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Shillong Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates in 2026 for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Research Assistant in the Department of Biotechnology, Govt of India funded research project entitled "Characterization and identification of pharmaceutically active compounds in fermented bamboo shoots of North East India, their bioactivity evaluation, microbiological profile and scientific validation of its anticarcinogenic role" under Prof. S.R. Joshi as Principal Investigator in the Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics.

B.Sc in Life Sciences with experience of working in Microbiology Laboratory and Microbial Culture Handling.
