North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Shillong Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the project entitled "Integrating Fluvial Morphology and Luminescence Dating to Unravel Late-Quaternary Sediment Dynamics in the Brahmaputra Basin, NE Himalaya" in 2026.

Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Tech) from a reputed University/Institution in Geology /Applied Geology/ Geophysics/ Earth Sciences/ Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics

Desirable Qualification: Experience in handling drone data
Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/- p.m. plus admissible HRA as per ANRF rules (for NET/GATE qualified)
Age: Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of advertisement (relaxation as per the Govt. of
India norms)
