Applications are invited for recruitment of various research based vacancy or jobs in College of Community Science Tura Meghalaya in 2026.

College of Community Science Tura Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the vacancy or jobs of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) on contractual basis for the period of One year (may be extended up to 2 years as per availability of funds) for the project entitled "Sustainable Use of Unconventional Fibers of Indian Himalayas for Agro Textiles" in 2026.

Emoluments :

Rs. 31000/- per month + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 35000/- + HRA for 3rd year

Rs. 28000/- per month + HRA for 1st & 2nd year and Rs. 35000/- + HRA for 3rd year

Essential Qualification :

1. M.Sc. in Community Science/ Home Science (in any Discipline) / Agricultural Extension with ICAR/UGC NET.

2. M.Sc. in Community Science/ Home Science (in any Discipline) /Agricultural Extension without ICAR/UGC NET

Desired Qualification : Working Experience of atleast 2 years with working knowledge of computer.
Knowledge of local language

Selection Procedure :

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 16th January 2026. Time of interview is 11 AM. Venue is in College of Community Science, CAU (Imphal), Sangsanggre, Tura, Meghalaya.
