North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong, Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Project Technical Support–III (Psychologist) (01 Post) under the
ICMR extramural project titled “A Community Based Study on Health Related Quality of Life
(HRQoL), Functional Status and Morbidity Profile among Elderly Persons Living in Rural Setting of Meghalaya” in 2026.

Essential Qualification :

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from a recognized institute with one year of work
experience OR Master’s degree in Psychology from a recognized institute.

Emoluments : Rs. 28,000/- + 10% HRA Rs. 2,800/- = Rs. 30,800/- per month

Selection Procedure :

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 11th February, 2026 in the Department of Community Medicine, New Medical College Building (Director Block side), 4th Floor, Mawdiangdiang, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong. Registration of candidates: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
Interview: 10:45 AM onwards
