Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or jobs in NIT Meghalaya in 2025.

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates in 2025 for recruitment to the posts or jobs of  Senior Research Assistant (SRA)/ Junior Research Assistant (JRA) / Office Assistant (OA) position in the following research project "ISHAAN: A System for Bidirectional Machine Translation Between 1) English and Assamese, Bodo, Manipuri, Nepali 2) Manipuri and Hindi 3) Assamese and Bodo under National Language Translation Mission (NLTM): BHASINI."

Name of post : Senior Research Assistant (SRA)

No. of posts : 2

Qualification : Candidates with an M.Tech. / M.E. in /CSE/IT/AI. Specialisation in Natural Language Processing and Machine Translation is preferable.

Fellowship : INR 60,000/- per month

Name of post : Junior Research Assistant (JRA)

No. of posts : 2

Qualification : Candidates with an M.Tech. / M.E. in /CSE/IT/AI. Specialisation in Natural Language Processing is preferable.

Fellowship : INR 40,000/- per month

Name of post : Office Assistant (OA) 

No. of posts : 1

Qualification : BE/BTech in CSE/IT

Fellowship : INR 30,000/- per month
