Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or jobs in NEIGRIHMS Shillong Meghalaya in 2025.

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) Shillong Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Project Technical Support-I & II (1 post each) on contractual basis under ICMR EXTRAMURAL PROJECT entitled "Accelerating efforts to END TB in India" in 2025.

Qualification & Experience :

Graduate in relevant subjects (Social Work/ Nursing/Public Health)

OR

10th + Diploma (MLT/DMLT/Public Health) with 2 years’ experience in relevant fields

Desirable: Fluency in English, Pnar, Khasi, etc

Emoluments : Rs 18000/- per month + 9% HRA

Upper Age Limit : 28 years

Name of post : Project Technical Support-II

No. of posts : 1

Qualification & Experience : 12th Science+ Graduate in (Radiography & Imaging technology/Lab
technician),

OR

Diploma(Radiography & Imaging technology/Lab technician), with 5 years experience in relevant field

Desirable: Fluency in English, Pnar, Khasi etc

Emoluments : Rs 20000/- per month + 9% HRA

Upper Age Limit : 30 years

Job Roles :

Data collection >200 villages (rural) from four selected blocks and 30 urban census wards of Jaintia Hills. Field work from 7 AM to 5PMasper needs based on availability of study participants. Good communication skills for face to face interview with the selected family members. Sputum sample collection and Transport to Laboratory. Data entry of data. Data collection cum supervision of field staff. Operation of Hand held X-Ray machine for chest X ray in the field and maintenance of equipments.

Selection Procedure :

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 25th November 2025 in the Department of Community Medicine, New Medical College Building (Director Block side) 4th Floor, Mawdiangdiang, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong.

Registration of Candidates is from 9 AM to 10:30 AM followed by interview at 10:45 AM
