North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Project Technical Support – III & Project Technical Support II sanctioned by ICMR, under the project titled “Climate change and brain infections in India – CLIMB -INDIA - A multi-centre, multidisciplinary collaborative study on the impact of climate change on brain infections” in 2025.

Name of post : Project Technical Support – III

No. of posts : 1

Qualification & Experience :

Three Years Graduate degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical Fields + three Years post qualification
experience or PG in relevant subject / field.

Desirable Experience:

1. Experience in research projects, field studies, or laboratory work
2. Digital data collection, database management, MS Excel proficiency
3. Experience in Government/Research institutions preferred

Job Responsibilities:

1. Coordination of field activities, data collection and quality assurance
2. Supporting PI/Co-PIs in project execution and documentation
3. Managing databases, schedules, logistics, and reporting
4. Supporting laboratory/field operations and stakeholder engagement

Monthly Salary : Rs. 28,000/- + HRA

Upper Age Limit : 35 years

Name of post : Project Technical Support – II

No. of posts : 1

Qualification & Experience :

12th in science + Diploma (MLT/ DMLT) + Five Years Experience in relevant subject / field

OR

Three Years Graduate degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical Fields + two years’ experience in
relevant subject

Desirable Experience:

1. Experience in sample handling, fieldwork, data collection
2. Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills
3. Experience in ICMR/health research projects preferred

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support in field data/samples collection
2. Maintain registers, inventories and project files
3. Assist in participant enrolment and follow-up
4. Other duties assigned by PI

Monthly Salary : Rs. 20,000/- + HRA

Upper Age Limit : 35 years
