Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative positions or jobs in NIT Manipur in 2026.

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Manipur is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Internal Audit Officer on contract basis in 2026.

Name of post : Internal Audit Officer

No. of posts : 1

Remuneration : Rs.50,000/- OR as per Ministry of Finance, Dept. of Expenditure O.M. No. F. No. 3-25/2020-E.IIIA dated 09/12/2020 as the case may be.

Essential Qualification:

Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in any discipline. Retired Government Officers having served as Senior Audit Officer/Accounts Officer or equivalent in AG/C&AG/Government/Semi-Government/PSUs/Central Educational Institutions with extensive experience in auditing, accounts, establishment, pay fixation, pension rules, stores & purchase, construction works, research projects, etc.

OR

Minimum First Class in Master’s Degree in Commerce or Accountancy or MBA (Finance) or
allied discipline. Sound knowledge of applicable statutory compliances related to Ministry of Education, Government of India in connection with auditing techniques, internal audit standards issued by ICAI. Sound knowledge of Income Tax & GST compliances/filing, GFR 2017, FRSR and related finance & accounts, handling of CAG Audit paras, service rules etc.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of service at the level of Senior Audit Officer/Accounts or equivalent in the above organisations.

OR

Minimum 10 years working experience as Jr. Assistant or Sr. Assistant, Assistant, Accountant
or Sr. Accountant or Superintendent or Senior Superintendent or analogous post (including all years put in different posts) in Audit Wing or Finance & Accounts Department of Centrally Funded Technical Institution (CFTI).

Age Limit: Not exceeding 65 years as on last date of submission of the application
