IIM Shillong Recruitment 2025 : Apply for Young Professional posts

Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative positions or jobs under IIM Shillong in 2025.

The Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Centre for Policy Research & Analysis (Dr Kalam Centre), Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Young Professionals in 2025. The YPs will be engaged by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh under various departments/divisions to support evidence-based policy making, research, and analysis. This programme offers an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to gain immersive exposure to governance, public policy, and development administration.

Educational Qualifications :

Essential: Post-Graduation/Master’s Degree from Institutes of National Importance/Reputed Universities with minimum 60%.

Desirable:

1. B.Tech/MBA from IIMs/IITs/NITs or equivalent reputed institutes.

2. Proficiency in data analytics, visualization, spreadsheets, and programming skills.

Experience :

1. Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience desirable.

2. Freshers with exceptional academic credentials may also apply.

3. Knowledge of project management and government scheme implementation.

4. ICT proficiency, especially MS Office, data analysis, and monitoring tools.

5. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Remuneration: Fixed honorarium @ Rs. 60,000 per month (with free accommodation)

Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 30th September 2025

Job Roles :

The YPs shall:

1. Gain first-hand experience of Government functioning and development policy issues.

2. Contribute to policy formulation through empirical analysis, reports, policy briefs, and research papers.

3. Identify design and implementation gaps in government schemes/programmes.

4. Assist in technology-enabled governance processes.

5. Evaluate impact of development projects and provide recommendations.
