CSIR IHBT Recruitment 2025 : Apply for Technical Asst, Technician

Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or jobs in CSIR IHBT in 2025.

CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology ( CSIR IHBT) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Technical Assistants and also Technicians in 2025.

Name of post : Technical Assistant

No. of posts : 4

Qualification & Experience :

BSc with minimum 60% marks and also one year experience

OR

Diploma with minimum 60% marks and also 2 years experience in relevant discipline

Name of post : Technician

No. of posts : 5

Qualification & Experience :

SSC / 10th Standard / SSC or equivalent with minimum 55% marks and also ITI certificate or national / state trade certificate in relevant disciplines

OR

SSC / 10th standard or equivalent with minimum 55% marks and also 2 years full time experience in
relevant discipline as an apprentice trainee from a recognized institution

OR

SSC / 10th standard or equivalent with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience

The application forms along with the relevant documents should reach on or before the last date of receipt of offline applications, i.e. 29.12.2025 (05:00 PM), whereas for candidate residing in far flung areas viz North Eastern Regions, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Lahaul & Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh, UT of Ladakh etc. will be 05.01.2026 (05:00 PM)

Application Fees :

Candidates belonging to General / OBC / EWS category must pay application fee (non-refundable) of Rs.500/- [Rupees five hundred only] by way of Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque drawn in favour of “The Director, CSIR-IHBT, Palampur (H.P.)” payable at Palampur (Himachal Pradesh) and fill up the Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque detail in the prescribed columns of the applications.

The candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Women/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen (ESM) get exemption altogether from payment of application fee as per rules.
