Gauhati University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the govt job of Junior Research Fellowship in the project entitled "Decoding magnestopheric oscillation" in 2025.

Essential Qualifications :

1. Either NET (JRF) or GATE qualified
2. Must have passed M.Sc. in Physics with top grades
3. Must have working knowledge of ANN calculation and programming
4. Must have working experience in non-linear plasma physics and non-linear dynamics

Emoluments : The selected candidate will be paid the admissible fellowship as per national standard with HRA

Job Roles :

The fellow must carry out artificial neural network (ANN) calculation for parameter discovery of magnetospheric plasma oscillations and possible utilization of ISRO's Aditya L1 data. Applicants must carry out the work at the Physics Department, Gauhati University.
