Assam Science Society Guwahati is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the govt job or vacancy of Scientific Assistant in the Head Quarter of Assam Science Society at Khanapara in 2025. Assam Science Society is a voluntary organization established as “Gauhati Science Society” in the year 1953 and subsequently renamed as “Assam Science Society” in the year 1956 to encompass the entire state of Assam to create its humble service by developing scientific temperament and also to create an environment for scientific research. The Society has 100 branches all over Assam including one of its branches at Tikrikila in Garo Hills, Meghalaya. The Society enrolled about 5000 (five thousand) life members and is probably one of the largest scientific societies of India

Qualifications:

(i) B.Sc. from recognized institution/University

(ii) One year Diploma in Computer Application.

Remuneration: The selected candidate will be paid a lump sum amount of Rs.15,000/- per month, provisionally, for one year. After completion of the probationary period, he/she may be considered for further extension as per norms of the Society.
